Noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) are diseases of generally slow progression and long duration. It is a non spreadable disease which means it does not pass from one person to another.

There are four main types of noncommunicable disease.They include,

Cardiovascular Disease

Causes

The most common cause of cardiovascular disease includes atherosclerosis. This happens when the fatty deposits get accumulated in the arteries. Moreover, if you have diabetes or other health problems such as an infection, a virus, or a structural problem, you can trigger cardiovascular disease.

Symptoms

Diabetes
