Few people are lucky enough to be born with perfect teeth but who don’t have perfect teeth they may have a formidable experience. There is no need to be fear, with the right information and advice, dental braces can help to correct your particular problem.

Traditional Braces: They are being used from earlier days and are lighter in weight and structure than they used to be. They are made from a high-grade stainless steel and have metal brackets that are attached to each tooth using a type of cement. The brackets are linked to each other with a thin archwire, which puts pressure on the teeth to cause them to move slowly into the correct position.

Ceramic Braces: The brackets are made from a clear, transparent ceramic material. These braces are less visible to others, which makes them a popular choice for adults. The patients who wear these types of braces occasionally find that the elastics become discolored, which can cause marks on the teeth.

Damon Braces: It provides gentle treatment and requires fewer dental visits. They are self-ligating and use a slide mechanism instead of elastics to connect the archwires. These braces produce faster results because the teeth can move on their own without needing to be adjusted. This causes less friction and pressure on the teeth, so movement is less painful.

Lingual Braces: In these type of braces the brackets and wires are placed on the inside of teeth. They are invisible from outside but difficult to clean and more expensive.

Invisalign: They consists of a series of 18 to 30 custom made, mouth guard-like clear plastic aligners. The aligners are removable and are replaced every two weeks.
