TREATMENTS FOR IRRITABLE BOWEL SYNDROME
Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is a group of symptoms that cause changes in your bowel movements, including pain or discomfort in your abdomen.
Although medications can treat and help manage the condition, there are certain alternate remedies that have proven helpful as well.
- HIGH FIBRE INTAKE
If you have IBS, you need to modify the amount of fibre in your diet. There are two main types of fibre - soluble fibre (dissolves in water) and insoluble fibre (doesn't dissolve in water).

The exercise should be strenuous enough to increase your heart, breathing rates and improve cardiovascular health.
