Kundalini Yoga Meditation
What is Meditation?
Meditation is an arrangement of easy procedures that utilizes what you have like your body, mind & senses, to make a correspondence amongst you, your brain & your body.
It is a great opportunity to be with yourself. It is an opportunity to connect with your breath, to be available to the life force in your body, to re-set up your own pulse, to converse with your higher self, to love your own life.
Much the same as an everyday bath cleans your body, an everyday meditation purifies your mind, to enable you to concentrate on your energy, stay healthy, avoid mistakes & turn out to be more kind & pious. It encourages you clear your subconscious & to remain completely active.
Meditation is a chance to make stillness inside yourself where you don't respond to the endless stream of the brain. You can rapidly & easily process a wide range of sentiments & thoughts & effectively restore & relax yourself so you can deal with the stress & make harmony with people around you.
Where to do it?
Meditation can be done anywhere, where you can be undisturbed for some time, ideally somewhere that is neither excessively hot nor excessively cold place. Sit on something soft & supportive place, where you can sit comfortably in a cross-legged position with your spine straight & erect. Some individuals set a separate place for meditation in their homes with a few objects in the spot that elevate them & help them to remember their soul, or of nature.
When to do it?
Whenever you are prepared to attempt it & feeling active, is a good time to meditate. Experienced people prefer to do it at early morning between 3 to 6 am because not much activities take place at that time. Most of the people sleep at that time so disturbance is least at that time.
Many individuals prefer to meditate before going to bed. This encourages them to wash away all the tensions, stresses & inconveniences of the day & set you up for a deep & peaceful sleep & to create the energy for the new day.
It is good not to meditate after having your meal, since all the blood is in your stomach, leaving little for your brain.
For how long to do it?
Every meditation is distinctive - they function on various parts of the body & mind, so the time fluctuates with the method, somewhere in the range of 3 minutes to 2 1/2 hours.
Begin with what is easy for you. Even 5 minutes of meditation will also be advantageous for you. The main advantage is the opportunity to just stop your fixed schedule, the unaware patterns driving you throughout your life without realizing that you are alive.
You can wear any dress that is comfortable to sit for a long time. It is preferred to tie your hair & cover your head so that it should not disturb you while meditating. However covering your head is not a compulsion.
Is there any special diet?
It is suggested to have light meal because of your good well-being. Numerous people have moved toward becoming vegetarian. They chose the lightest diet which enables the brain to be quiet & concentrated. Bringing down the consumption of protein & the foods that produce acidity makes a difference. There are a few meditations which are especially to heal, that do have a unique work on a particular organ. It is advised to stay away from drugs as psychoactive medications might imbalance your brain & body.
Yoga is a holistic lifestyle as it is beneficial on all physical, mental, emotional and social aspects. It needs to be practiced with a good yoga teacher to get more out of every practice of yoga.
Happy Practicing Yoga!!
