Diabetes recipe-chocolate chip cookies (splenda)
2 cups all purpose flour or wholewheat pastry flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup melted butter or margarine
1 cup splenda brown sugar blend
2 lg eggs
1 tbsp vanilla
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips or special dark chips (Hershey's)
Preheat oven 375 Line cookie sheets with parchment paper.
Combine flour,baking powder,baking soda and salt in small bowl. Set aside.
Mix butter and Splenda Brown Sugar Blend in a large bowl. Stir in eggs
one at a time. Add vanilla and mix. Stir in flour mixture.
Fold in chocolate chips.
Drops dough by rounded tbsp onto cookie sheets. Bake for 11-13
minutes. Allow cookies to cool 2 minutes before moving to wire rack to
