Teaching is one of the most difficult, at the same time most rewarding occupation I have experienced. Special ed teaching requires loads of patience without which the educator can't expect positive results from a child. Parents and teachers work together to help the the spl needs child gain maximum independence in all areas of development.
Motivation, encouragement, reinforcements, reassurance are the basic tools to be used while working with spl children. Letting student struggle to complete his task is essential to develop child’s confidence and overall development.
I have experienced working with varied categories of children and when I sit to work, I feel each child is so unique and a challenge to work with and I hope to improvise further in using various methodologies which would give maximum positive resulst to the child…
