Dengue, which is also known popularly as the break bone fever, can often lead to sever implications, considering its highly infectious nature and its immense applicability in various joint pains, skin rashes, etc. When this disease goes untreated in the right manner, it may also lead to dengue hemorrhagic fever, which proves fatal to the corresponding victim. Light up your home:
Mosquitoes usually prefer damp and dark places. Have your home filled with streaming sunlight. The added benefit? This will keep off the virus breeding mosquitoes from camping up in your home. Also, have the mosquito screens handy, if required, and make sure the windows and doors are closed during the night to prevent potential mosquito invasion.
This is highly essential to prevent the dengue virus from actually invading you through the help of mosquitoes. Cover up every inch of your body when in or near such potential breeding grounds. Your clothes will act as an outer sheath, preventing you from significant exposure to the mosquito invasion, thus keeping you safe and sound.
