Stress is now being experienced on a daily basis by every age group. According to a survey by American Psychological Association (APA) the age group of 13-17 experience high stress with no coping mechanism. It is also stated that adults who suffer from high stress get 30% physically affected and 33% mentally affected.

Apart from entertaining people, music also serves as an anti-stress agent. Listen to calm and soothing music as it will help in easing your mind.
Humour can help in reducing a stress faster than anything else. When stressed watch a funny movie or clippings and your stress will ultimately start to decrease. Laughing helps in elevating your sense of well-being and as a result you start feeling better.

Add essential oils such as lavender or chamomile to your bath. Let your body relax. You tend to sleep better when the muscles are relaxed.

Healthy food such as whole grains, proteins, fresh juices, fruits can help in reducing stress and benefit you for a longer period of time. Another thing that should be kept in mind is cutting down the caffeine intake. Try lemon green tea or ginger green tea instead of taking extra cup of coffee.
